We have lived in the area our entire lives and both learned at an early age that you have to work very hard for what you get. Hard work and determination have been the foundation of our hopes and dreams, those values are visible in our business.
In 2015, we, along with our partners purchased and established Krasa’s Kove in Findley Lake, NY. We began the business purchasing ice cream from a wholesaler, and quickly realized we could produce a higher quality product with fresh ingredients, incorporating local farms, orchards, and businesses in the area. Working with & supporting other local businesses is a key aspect of our business plan because we truly believe in people helping people.
Nick began working with industry leaders in ice cream production from all over the country, learning key skills of ice cream production. Through trial and error, Nick has successfully created over 200 different fun, unique and delicious flavor combinations that we are proud to serve to our customers.
In 2020, we bought out our partners and became the sole owners of Krasa’s Kove in hopes of pushing the business to the next level. We added a few new lines to Krasa’s Kove – began selling amish made poly and wood furniture products, as well as Breeo – reduced smoke fire rings - all made in the USA. While continuing to improve and provide high quality ice cream and fresh waffle cones to our customers. We launched a new website and began working with a social media expert – Next Chapter Social in an effort to reach new customers.
We have two young children – Kaiden & Natalya. You may find them behind the counter from time to time. We work full time jobs besides managing, ice cream production and daily operations of Krasa’s Kove. When we are not working, we enjoy supporting our children in sports, boating, camping, and spending time with our friends & family. We are active member of the North American Ice Cream Association and have been since 2019, as well as members of several local clubs, organizations and chambers in the area.
In November 2021 our Holy Chocolate was named the White Ribbon - Third Place Winner - in the Chocolate Category at the North American Ice Cream Association Convention! We also launched our Pint Club in November of 2021!
